కరోనా నుంచి పూర్తిగా కోలుకోక ముందే దేశంలో బర్డ్ ఫ్లూ విజృంభిస్తోంది. వేగంగా వ్యాప్తిస్తున్న వైరస్ తో వేలాది పక్షులు మృత్యు వాతపడుతున్నాయి. రాజస్థాన్, హిమాచల్ ప్రదేశ్, మధ్యప్రదేశ్ లలో వేల సంఖ్యలో వలస వచ్చిన బాతులు, పక్షులు మరణించాయి. ఈ వైరస్ మెల్లగా దక్షిణాది రాష్ట్రాలకు పాకుతోంది.బర్డ్ ఫ్లూ వైరస్ అతివేగంగా వ్యాప్తి చెందుతున్న నేపథ్యంలో పలు రాష్ట్రాలు అప్రమత్తమయ్యాయి. బర్డ్ ఫ్లూ పంజా విసుతుండటంతో వైరస్ వ్యాప్తిని అరికట్టేందుకు చర్చలు చేపట్టాలని కర్ణాటక, తమిళనాడు, జమ్ము కశ్మీర్తో పాటు పలు రాష్ట్రాలు అటవీ, పశు సంవర్థక శాఖ అధికారులకు ఆదేశాలు జారీ చేశాయి. కేరళలోని అలప్పుజ, కొట్టాయం జిల్లాల్లో సుమారు 1700 బాతులు బర్డ్ ఫ్లూ కారణంగా మృతిచెందినట్లు పశుసంవర్ధక శాఖ అధికారులు తెలిపారు. దీంతో ఈ జిల్లాల పరిథిలో ప్రత్యేక బృందాలను నియమించిన ప్రభుత్వం కోళ్లు, బాతులను చంపే ప్రక్రియకు ను ప్రారంభించారు. కొట్టాయం జిల్లాలోని బర్డ్ ఫ్లూ ప్రభావిత ప్రాంతాలలో 3 వేల మంది సిబ్బందిని నియమించి కోళ్లు, బాతులను చంపేందుకు ఏర్పాట్లు చేశారు. దాదాపు 40 వేల కోళ్లు, బాతులను సంహరించాల్సి ఉంటుందని అధికారులు అంచనా వేస్తున్నారు. . బర్డ్ ప్లూను కేరళ రాష్ట్ర విపత్తుగా ప్రకటించింది.
అప్రమత్తమైన కర్ణాటక, తమిళనాడు:
కేరళలో చోటు చేసుకుంటున్న పరిణామాలను నిశితంగా గమనింస్తూ అప్రమత్తంగా ఉండాలని తమిళనాడు ప్రభుత్వం అధికారులను ఆదేశించింది. మరోవైపు బర్డ్ ఫ్లూ పై కర్ణాటక ప్రభుత్వం కూడా అప్రమత్తమైంది. అధికారులు అప్రమత్తంగా ఉంటాలని కర్ణాటక ఆరోగ్య శాఖ మంత్రి సుధాకరన్ ఆదేశించారు.హిమాచల్ ప్రదేశ్ లోని కాంగ్రా జిల్లాలో ఉన్న పాంగ్ జలాశయ ప్రాంతాన్ని మంగళవారం అధికారులు సందర్శించారు. ఈ ప్రాంతంలో వేల సంఖ్యలో వలస పక్షులు మృతి చెందాయి. ఈ నేపథ్యంలో వైరస్ వ్యాప్తిని అరికట్టేందుకు తీసుకోవాల్సిన చర్యలపై సమీక్ష నిర్వహించారు. బర్డ్ ఫ్లూ కారణంగా మధ్యప్రదేశ్ లో వందల సంఖ్యలో కాకులు చనిపోతున్నట్లు అధికారులు గుర్తించారు. పక్షులకు వైరస్ సోకిందన్న అనుమానంతో భోపాల్ లోని పలు ప్రాంతాల నుంచి కోళ్లు, వలస పక్షుల నమూనాలను సేకరించి పరీక్షల నిమిత్తం ప్రయోగశాలకు పంపినట్లు అధికారులు తెలిపారు.
నమూనాలను పరీక్షిస్తున్న అధికారులు:
రాజస్థాన్ లోని 16 జిల్లాల్లో వందల సంఖ్యలో పక్షులు మృత్యు వాత పడ్డాయి. దీంతో అప్రమత్తమైన అధికారులు పక్షుల నమూనాలను సేకరించి ప్రయోగశాలకు పంపినట్లు తెలిపారు. హర్యానాలోని పంచకులలో బర్డ్ ఫ్లూ థాటికి గత పది రోజుల్లో నాలుగు లక్షలకు పైగా కోళ్లు మృత్యువాత పడ్డాయి. హిమాచల్ ప్రదేశ్ లో బర్డ్ ఫ్లూ కేసులు వెలుగు చూడటంతో జమ్ము కశ్మీర్ ప్రభుత్వం అధికారులకు పలు సూచనలు చేసింది. మహారాష్ట్రలో ఇప్పటివరకు ఒక్క బర్డ్ ఫ్లూ కేసు నమోదు కాలేదని ఆ రాష్ట్ర ప్రభుత్వం వెల్లడించింది.
ఆందోళనలో కోళ్ల వ్యాపారులు:
వైరస్ వ్యాప్తి ఎక్కువగా ఉన్న ప్రాంతాలలో ముందు జాగ్రత్తగా కోళ్లను, పక్షులను చంపి పూడ్చిపెడుతున్నారు. బర్డ్ ఫ్లూ కారణంగా చికెన్ అమ్మకాలు దారుణంగా పడిపోయాయి. దీంతో వ్యాపారులు ఆందోళన వ్యక్తం చేస్తున్నారు. కరోనాని తట్టుకుని ఇపుడిపుడే వ్యాపారాలు కుదుట పడుతున్న సమయంలో బర్డ్ ఫ్లూ వచ్చి తమ పొట్టను కొడుతోందని పౌల్ట్రీ వ్యాపారులు ఆందోళన వ్యక్తం చేస్తున్నారు.
